Brand strategy
Watch the words land.
Most positioning lines could be pasted onto a competitor's site without anyone noticing. Strategy is the work of getting to the one sentence that couldn't.

Claim you can defend
What we interrogate
Four questions. Answered honestly, once.
The market
What category you're really competing in, which is often not the one you'd name first, and what buyers in it already believe before you turn up.
The buyer
Who signs, who blocks, and what each of them is actually afraid of. Personas that describe a decision, not a demographic.
The competitors
What every rival is already claiming, so we can find the ground nobody has taken instead of restating theirs in a nicer font.
The claim
The one thing you can say that's true, provable, and inconvenient for anyone else to copy. Everything downstream hangs off it.
What you walk away with
A document you'll actually use. Not a deck you file.
Positioning statement
One paragraph the whole team can repeat without reading it off a slide.
Audience profiles
The people who sign and the people who block, with what moves each of them.
Messaging pillars
Three or four claims, each with the proof that makes them defensible.
Voice & tone
How you sound in a homepage headline, a proposal, and an apology email.
Competitive map
Where every rival sits, and the space left over that's worth owning.
Go-to-market notes
Where the message lands first, and what to stop saying immediately.
How it runs
Three moves. Four to six hours of your time.
Step 01
Interview
Two sessions with your founder and whoever owns marketing. We ask the awkward questions early. They're cheaper now than after launch.
Step 02
Draft
We go away and write the strategy: positioning, pillars, voice, map. You get it as a document, not a performance.
Step 03
Pressure-test
We try to break it together. Anything that can't survive a hostile question doesn't make it into the final.
Questions
Straight answers, before you commit.
Do I need brand strategy if I already have a logo?
Yes. Strategy is the reason behind the logo: the positioning, audience, and messaging your visual identity is meant to express. Without it, design is just decoration.
Who participates from my side?
Your founder plus whoever owns marketing. Expect two interviews of 60 to 90 minutes each, then async review of the strategy document. Usually 4 to 6 hours of your time in total.
What do I walk away with?
A complete strategy document: positioning statement, audience personas, messaging pillars, voice and tone, and a competitive map. You can apply it to every marketing decision that follows.
How long does it take?
Starter runs 1 to 2 weeks and Standard runs 2 to 4 weeks. Timing depends mostly on your team's availability for interviews and review.
Can a competitor paste your headline onto their site?
Send us the line you use now. We'll tell you straight whether it's a position or a placeholder, and what it would take to make it yours.
