Doula Website Design for a Raleigh Birth and Postpartum Practice

The brief

A doula sells trust to someone at one of the most vulnerable moments of their life, and she sells it before they have ever met. Most doula websites read either like a clinical brochure or a personal blog, and neither convinces an expecting parent to book a stranger into the delivery room. BodyWise also spans fertility charting, birth support, and postpartum recovery, three services with three different customers, and the founder wanted her educational philosophy front and centre rather than a services list. The site had to feel like Tara in the room: calm, direct, and unafraid to say plainly what a body is doing.

What we built

• Led with the founder's voice and philosophy, since a doula's manner is the product an expecting parent is actually evaluating
• Structured the offer as three clear paths, education, pregnancy and birth, and postpartum, so a visitor at any stage finds their own door without reading the others
• Published starting-point pricing for each package, removing the uncertainty that keeps families from reaching out at all
• Surfaced real client birth stories and the full roster of Triangle hospitals and birth centres attended, turning a decade of experience into visible social proof
• Built a free-resource library, with a lead-magnet movement guide and downloadable birth-planning PDFs, so the site earns trust and email contacts long before a booking
• Routed every section toward a single action, the free 30-minute discovery call, and wired in scheduling and a client portal so booking never leaves the site
• Named the Raleigh and Triangle towns and birth venues she serves, so local search finds her for the places families actually give birth
