A patient deciding where to book is deciding who to trust with their health, and a website that looks dated, reads like a textbook, or hides the booking link costs the appointment. Healthcare sites carry a higher burden of proof than almost any other kind of business site, and they have to meet it for people who may be anxious, in pain, or reading on a phone in a waiting room.

Forzur builds websites for medical practices and healthcare providers that are credible on first glance and simple to act on. Services are explained in the words patients use, providers are introduced as people, insurance and location questions are answered up front, and booking is the clear next step from any page. Every site is custom-coded and built to accessibility standards, because a healthcare site that a screen reader cannot use is failing the patients who most need it.

We have built for a medical services company and for a Raleigh doula and childbirth education practice, and we work with practices across the Triangle and beyond from our base in Raleigh, NC.

What the website has to do

Explain care in the words patients use

Clinical terminology loses exactly the patients a practice site is meant to reach. A visitor searching for help with knee pain should not need to know a procedure name to find the right page. For CS Medical we broke services down in plain language so patients can identify what they need without a medical vocabulary, and that same approach is what search engines match against real queries.

Make booking the next step everywhere

Whether booking means an online scheduler, a request form, or a phone call, it should be visible from every page rather than parked on a contact screen. We integrate with the scheduling tool your practice already uses where it supports it, and where it does not, we build a short request flow your front desk can act on quickly.

Keep patient health information off the marketing site

The cleanest way to handle protected health information on a practice website is to never collect it there. Contact forms ask for a name, a way to reach the patient, and a general reason for the visit, never symptoms or records. Where intake genuinely needs clinical detail, we route patients to your HIPAA-covered patient portal or EHR rather than bolting medical intake onto a brochure site.

Introduce providers as people

Patients choose a clinician as much as a clinic. Provider pages with a real photo, credentials, specialties, and a sentence or two about how they practise give a nervous patient a reason to book with you. They also give Google a page for each provider's name, which is often how returning patients and referrals search.

Build for accessibility from the first screen

Healthcare audiences include older patients, people with low vision, and people navigating with a keyboard or screen reader. We build to WCAG accessibility guidelines from the start, with readable type sizes, sufficient contrast, labelled forms, and a structure assistive technology can follow, rather than running an overlay plugin after launch and hoping.

Answer the insurance and logistics questions up front

Before booking, most patients want to know whether you take their insurance, where to park, and what the first visit involves. Answering those on the site cuts the calls your front desk fields every day and removes the last reasons a patient has to keep looking elsewhere.

Questions we get asked

Is the website HIPAA compliant?

A marketing website stays out of HIPAA scope by not collecting protected health information in the first place, which is how we build them. Forms collect contact details and a general reason for the visit, and anything clinical goes through your existing patient portal. If your project genuinely needs to accept health information online, we scope that separately with a compliant provider and a business associate agreement rather than improvising it.

Can patients book appointments directly from the site?

Usually, yes. If your practice management or scheduling software offers online booking, we embed or link it so booking is one tap from every page. If it does not, a short appointment request form that your front desk confirms by phone works well and keeps the experience simple for patients.

We have several providers and locations. How is that organized?

Each provider and each location gets its own page, linked to the services offered there. That lets patients find the clinician or office closest to them and lets each location rank in its own area, without visitors wading through information that does not apply to them.

How do we get more patient reviews without breaking any rules?

Ask every patient the same way, at the same point, and never offer anything in exchange or ask only the happy ones. We set up a simple, consistent review request after visits and give you guidance on replying to reviews without confirming that the reviewer is a patient, which is where practices most often get into trouble.
